My Story

I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself! I’m Courtni, the owner and artist behind Brow Theory HI. Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, I’ve always had a passion for beauty and makeup, which led me to the world of Permanent Makeup in 2018.
My journey started with my first certification in both Microblading and Powder Brows from Nouveau Contour, but life (and the pandemic) put my career on pause. In 2023, I reignited my passion, earning my Powder Ombré Brows & Lip Blush certification from Jehanna Savini, owner of Brows By Jeeyonceslay. Since then, I’ve been committed to growing and refining my craft. In 2024, I traveled to Sacramento for Advanced Brow Training with Brenda Vang. I continued my education in 2025 by earning my Master Brows Certification in Maui. Most recently, in the summer of 2025, I was honored to be accepted into a mentorship program in Sacramento, where I further expanded my technique so I could bring that knowledge and artistry back home to Hawaiʻi.
Along the way, I’ve completed additional trainings in brow mapping, Nano Brows, and Nano Hybrid Brows to continue refining my techniques and expanding my knowledge of the brow industry.
Since then, I’ve continued to expand my education and services. I am now a licensed esthetician after completing a 600-hour esthetics program at Makana Academy here in Hawaiʻi, as well as a 7x certified brow specialist and certified permanent makeup artist. My continued education allows me to offer more than permanent makeup, with a focus on creating beautiful, customized brows through services such as brow shaping, lamination, brow packages, and permanent makeup.
My priority is delivering high-quality, natural-looking results through advanced techniques and continued education. I look forward to working with you and strive to bring both beauty and simplicity to your everyday routine.
